Narrow escape for Amit Shah as his chariot dashes against electric pole ahead of roadshow in Rajasthan

Home Minister Amit Shah had a narrow escape as a live electric wire came in contact with his chariot during a road show in Parbastar in Rajasthan on Tuesday.

After participating in the Kuchaman City and Makrana programmes of Nagaur, Home Minister Amit Shah reached Parbatsar.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah narrowly escaped an accident on Tuesday in Makrana in the newly formed Didwana-Kuchaman district of Rajasthan. Amit Shah's chariot dashed against the electric pole on the roadside. Immediately, he alighted from the chariot and boarded another vehicle. After the accident, the road show of the Union Home Minister was cancelled.

After addressing a public meeting in Makrana in the afternoon in support of Bharatiya Janata Party candidate Sunita Bhinchar, Amit Shah was heading towards Parbatsar in the evening, during which he had to participate in the Chaupal programme. On the way, Amit Shah's chariot hit the electric pole on the road. Fortunately, no one was injured in the freak mishap.

Amit Shah was supposed to hold a road show in Parbatsar assembly constituency as per the schedule. For this, Shah was proceeding from Makrana on a chariot and while passing through the Bidiyad area of ​​Parbatsar, the chariot met with an accident and sparks started coming out when it hit the electric wire.
