The modification in article 370 has given them a ray of hope and the couple have finally decided to marry each other.

There are caste differences between the two but this never became a matter of concern for them.

Talking to media Akshay said that he is very happy with the modification of article 370 as it has cleared the path for him to marry his girlfriend.

"I am grateful to the Modi government for the modification in article 370. Now we have the approval of our parents also for the marriage. After being in a relationship for almost two years we are going to marry each other," said Akshay.

Akshay's mother Krishna Devi also seems to be jubilant with the government's decision to modify article 370. She says that there is a vast improvement in the situation now.

"Earlier people used to visit Kashmir with a sense of fear in mind but now the situation has become better. I have given my approval to my son to marry. When the government has given right then who are we to stop?" said Krishna

The couple is happy to see their dreams come true. After getting married, Akshay's family has decided to schedule a reception in the month of October, in which many relatives from Jammu and Kashmir are expected to visit Sri Ganganagar.
