Modi government wants to ruin farmers: Congress

The farm bills, Congress said, would lead to a situation where the farmers would be reduced to landless labourers and the corporates would resort to black-marketing. Congress would hold protests across the country against the bills, it said.

Sikar: Terming the farm bills by the central government as anti-farmers, Congress has said that it would oppose the same at every level and accused Prime Minister Narendra Modi of helping the corporate families and ruining farmers of the country.

"These are the anti-farmers bills and we will oppose them," Rajasthan Congress chief Govind Singh Dotasra told ETV Bharat here.

He said the Congress wants these bills to be taken back.
