Alwar:A 30-year-old man was beaten to death on Monday by few people for allegedly molesting a woman at Chowki village in Kotkasim area of Rajasthan's Alwar.
The deceased was identified as Rudmal.
Man thrashed to death in Rajasthan's Alwar On being informed, police reached the spot but before they could send the body for post-mortem, the villagers started creating a ruckus. Dozens of villagers kept the body in front of the hospital and staged a demonstration for over four hours demanding the arrest of the accused. They were later assured by the police of a fair probe.

Father of the deceased, Ram Avatar, has registered a murder case against Sherpur village residents Ajit, Rajpal, Lalit and Jitesh among others.
As per the relatives, Rudmal was at home when around five armed men from Sherpur village visited him and started thrashing him brutally alleging he molested a woman.
The family of the victim immediately rushed to Ajit's house, where Rudmal was found unconscious. The family took him to the Community Health Center in the evening, where he was declared brought dead.
"The accused will be arrested soon. An FIR will be registered in connection with the case of molestation of the woman and the incident will be probed," police said.
