Man kills wife, calls up police to confess in Rajasthan

In a shocking case reported from Rajasthan's Jodhpur district, a man allegedly killed his wife slitting her throat. He then called up the police and confessed to his crime. He also informed the police that he had got a mental attack which made him commit the crime.

Jodhpur:A 30-year-old man from Rajasthan's Jodhpur district, allegedly murdered his wife slitting her throat on Sunday night.

Following the incident, Vikram Singh, the accused, called up the police as well as his in-laws and confessed to his crime.

The police then rushed to arrest Singh where he was found playing a game on the mobile phone sitting beside his wife's corpse.

Singh later informed the police that he had got a mental attack which made him commit the crime.

Speaking to ETV Bharat, DSP Dharmendra Singh Yadav said the accused has been arrested after he informed the police about the crime.

"Prima facie it seems that the accused had some altercation with his wife before killing her. We are investigating the matter to find what exactly led him to kill his wife. The body has been handed over to the family after the post-mortem," he added.

It may be mentioned here that Singh had got married in 2008 and also has two children.
