Man & his allies arrested for raping, killing minor sister in Rajasthan

A man and his three allies were arrested in Rajasthan on Saturday on the charges of raping and killing his minor sister.

Jaipur:A man and his three friends were arrested by Rajasthan police for allegedly raping and killing his minor sister at Todi village under Manoharpur police limits in Rajasthan's Jaipur, police said on Saturday.

The accused persons have been identified as Jishan (brother of the deceased minor), Sajid, Wajid, and Ahmed of the same locality.

According to police, the incident took place on May 17 when parents of the girl lodged a missing complaint with the police as the girl did not return home.

Acting on the plaint, police investigated the incident and found a decomposed body near the Mishrawas forest. After the parents identified the body of their daughter, police started interrogating the family about the incident.

During the interrogation, Jishan confessed his crime and also confessed that in an inebriated condition, he and his friends forcibly took his sister from the house and raped her. Later, he brutally killed the girl and dumped in a forest.

"After abducting her, the accused persons took her to a house where they allegedly raped and killed her. They also burnt her clothes in a bid to destroy evidence," Said, ASP, Sushil Choudhury.

"The police later retrieved the victim’s decomposed body from Mishrawas forest. Her private parts were mutilated and some of her vital organs had been ruptured," ASP, Choudhury said.

"During the investigation the men were detained and they confessed their crime during questioning," said Choudhury.

"A case was registered against the accused under IPC section 376 (rape), 302 (murder), 201 (destruction of evidence) and section 6 of Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act," he added.

The accused persons were arrested on Friday and remanded to judicial custody, police sources added.
