Jaipur:Mortal remains of over 50 people have been kept safe in the crematorium at Chandpol in Jaipur as a nationwide lockdown has been imposed to curb the cases of novel coronavirus infection.
In Jaipur's crematoriums, urns and bags filled with mortal remains are waiting for their family members, to return, once the lockdown ends and complete the last rites.
The ashes of about 50 people have been kept safe in the cremation ground at Chandpol in Jaipur. People who come here perform the last rites of their loved ones. But after this, on the third day, the remains have to be immersed as per the process of cremation.
After the congregation of tija ceremony, the relatives immerse them in the holy river.
