Jaipur: A rape accused, who had fled to the African country Congo, was handed over to Jaipur police after his arrival at the Mumbai international airport. A lookout notice had been issued by the Jaipur police. About two years ago the accused had fled to Congo. The accused Aman Khemlani was arrested at the Mumbai airport and later handed over to the Jaipur police.
Jaipur DCP (north) Rashi Dogra Dudi said that on April 8, 2021, a woman had lodged a case of rape against Aman Khemlani. Khemlani is a resident of Bareilly in Uttar Pradesh. The case was filed against the accused at the Amer police station in Jaipur. The rape victim in her complaint to the Jaipur police stated that she had gone to her sister's place in Bareilly after being fed up with her husband's, who is addicted to alcohol. When she was staying at her sister's house, the accused Khemlani used to visit the place. "The accused after emotionally blackmailing the victim, sexually exploited her several times. The accused established a physical relationship with the victim on the pretext of marriage also. The accused clicked photos of the victim in an objectionable position and also threatened to upload them on social media," stated the FIR. The accused was exploiting the aggrieved woman for four years threatening to make the objectionable photos viral on social media.
