Udaipur: Rajasthan's Jagdish Temple in Udaipur which used to be flooded with devotees now stands mute and empty for the first time in 400 years due to the lockdown to contain COVID-19.
During these days, the temple priest's family is taking care of the temple and performing the rituals and prayers.
Priest Gajendra told that this is the first time in the history of the temple that Lord Jagdish is not giving 'darshan' to his devotees.
He also informed that all the jhankis and aartis of Lord Jagdish are being duly and timely performed, after which the bhog is offered to Lord Jagdish, as usual.
