Indian Air Force Chinook makes emergency landing as it runs out of fuel

A Chinook heavy-lift helicopter had to make an emergency landing at Dabok Airport as it ran out of fuel. The multi-utility helicopter took off again soon after refueling.

Udaipur: An Indian Air Force US-made Chinook heavy-lift helicopter was forced to made an emergency landing here as it ran out of fuel, official sources said.

The advanced helicopter, which was inducted in the IAF last year, landed at Dabok Airport here.

It took off again after refueling, the source said.

The aircraft is all-weather capable and has state-of-the-art night vision.
