Jaipur/Kota:The Income Tax department has cracked down on businessmen close to Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot. Raids were conducted at the locations of Congress leaders Rajiv Arora and Dharmendra Rathore and other associate traders.
During the action of the Income Tax Department on three big groups, more than two crore cash has been recovered so far. Rs 65 crores worth of jewellery and antique products have also been seized. Along with this, a large number of digital data has also been captured.
The teams of the Income Tax Department have raided locations in Jaipur, Kota, Delhi and Mumbai. Although the dept hasn't recovered less than estimates and information, they have claimed to have seized incriminating documents. The Income Tax Department teams are now preparing to scrutinize the documents.
