Jaipur: Veteran politician and former Rajasthan President of the Bharatiya Janata Party, Bhanwar Lal Sharma passed away in Jaipur on Friday. He was 95-years-old.
Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, Deputy Chief Minister Sachin Pilot, former Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje, BJP state president Satish, Jaipur MP Ramcharan Bohra and other leaders have offered condolences.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi took to Twitter to condole the death of the veteran BJP leader. "His role in strengthening the party in Rajasthan was extremely valuable," PM Modi wrote on Twitter.
BJP state president Satish Poonia said Bhanwar Lal Sharma had a major contribution in the development of the state and in strengthening the party.
Moreover, he believed in simplicity and never used any government facilities while he was an MLA or minister.
