Bundi:Amid strict restrictions put in place to contain the spread of covid, a woman has submitted a memorandum to the Bundi District Collector in Rajasthan demanding financial assistance following the death of her husband due to 'shock' after paying a fine of Rs 1 lakh during her daughter's marriage.
The incident, which has raised certain questions on the administration, took place in Adila village of Kapren municipality area.

Despite a ban on weddings amid Covid restrictions till May 30, Brijmohan Meena married his daughter Indra Bai on May 14.
On getting informed, the subdivision officer and his team reached the spot to take stock of the situation.
During the probe, Brijmohan Meena informed them that all the Covid norms were taken care of including social distancing, mandatory usage of mask and hand sanitisation. He also stated that a fixed number of guests were invited to meet the guidelines issued by the government.
