Jaipur:The Special Operations Group(SOG) has arrested a fake IPS officer in Jaipur on Friday. The accused person named Abhay Meena resides in Sawai Madhopur and is currently living in an apartment in Jagatpura, Jaipur.
The SOG has recovered the IPS uniform, fake CID identification card, three air pistols, a 3-star luxury car, and fake IPS Association membership card from the accused. A police informer informed the SOG that a person name Abhay Meena was hoodwinking many people as an IPS officer and was cheating people including police officers. Based on the information, the accused Abhay Meena has been arrested.
In the initial inquiry, it has been revealed that Abhay Meena has joined as chief guest in many programs of the Police, and in addition to this, he himself has honoured policemen by organising events for them.
