Rajasthan: Ex-minister alleges corruption in Gehlot govt

Former BJP minister Surendra Pal TT has accused the Gehlot government of corruption in the matter of allocation of mines. In the press conference held at the BJP headquarters, he has demanded a CBI inquiry into the matter.

Jaipur:Rajasthan politics continues to be on the boil with the BJP now accusing the state government of alleged corruption in the mining department. BJP leader and former minister Surendra Pal TT held a press conference at the party headquarters on Tuesday and accused the Rajasthan government of scam in the mines allocation in Sikar and Pratapgarh and demanded a CBI investigation into it.

Surendra Pal TT said that on the behest of the state government, the officials of the mines department changed the category of Cheja stone mine in Sikar a marble mine.

In the course of the press conference, the BJP leader also raised the issue of Pratapgarh saying the limestone mine in Pratapgarh was changed to marble for allotment.
