Narrating their plight, the labourers told the reporter that they were hungry and parched as they neither had any food to eat nor water to drink since Wednesday.

ETV Bharat then reached out to the Jaipur Police and with their help provided the hungry labourers with food. It is also to be noted that several volunteering groups came forward to support the efforts of the Jaipur police and ETV Bharat. A water tanker was also called in to provide clean drinking water to them.

"Around 100 labourers are being provided with food and fresh drinking water. Further, we are providing them a training on how to practice social distancing and medical checks will be done to check any cases of infections," Shipra path police officials, Khalil Ahmed told ETV Bharat.
