Jaipur: An earthquake of a magnitude of 3.1 on the Richter Scale jolted Rajasthan's capital city during the early hours of Tuesday.
No casualty or major damage have been reported so far.

Though, many people came out of their homes and apartments as panic gripped the area following the earthquake.
According to the reports from the Jaipur Meteorological Department, the earthquake tremors were felt by 5:26 am on Tuesday.
The tremors have been felt across Jaipur and neighbouring areas of Rajasthan, said the report.
Jaipur Meteorological Department Director Shiv Ganesh said that the earthquake was centred at a depth of 39 kilometres in Jaipur.
Meanwhile, the common life was not got affected as the news had spread.
