Jaipur: A doctor and compounder were arrested for allegedly taking a bribe of Rs 10,000 for conducting surgery in Rajasthan's Churu district.
The accused Dr Sandeep Agrawal, assistant professor (surgery) of medical college, Churu, had allegedly demanded the bribe from one Vikas Kumar Jat for conducting surgery of his mother, a cancer patient.
Jat complained to the anti-corruption bureau and the team laid a trap at a private hospital where the accused doctor had called Vikas to hand over the bribe amount, Additional SP, ACB, Churu, Anand Prakash Swami, said.
