Bharatpur (Rajasthan): As members of Gurjar Aarakshan Sangharsh Samiti continued to block the Delhi-Mumbai rail route in Bharatpur over demands of reservation, a delegation of 41 Gurjar leaders on Saturday rejected the leadership of Vijay Bainsla.
On the seventh day of the stir, the 41-member delegation lashed out at Sangharsh Samiti convener Colonel Kirori Singh Bainsla for handing over the charge of the agitation to his son Vijay Bainsla.
Gurjar leaders Shriram Bainsla, Yadaram, and Vijayram, said they would not accept Vijay Bainsla's leadership.
"The leader of the community will be decided by the members of the community, not Kirori Singh Bainsla," the leaders said.
Further, the leaders expressed their gratitude towards Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot for working towards fulfiling their demands. They also urged Kirori Bainsla to end the stir as common people were facing troubles due to the blockade.
Meanwhile, agitators continued to block highways and the Delhi-Mumbai rail route at Pilupura in Bayana on the call given by Sangharsh Samiti convener, Colonel Kirori Singh Bainsla.
