Jaipur: A Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) jawan who was deployed in Delhi, died after returning back to his home in Alwar district of Rajasthan on Sunday; he was under quarantine for 14 days in the national capital, a source said.
"The soldier returned home from Delhi on Saturday night and early morning on Sunday, he was found dead. We have taken his sample and it is being probed if he was coronavirus positive," Dr. Sundarpal Yadav said.

According to health officials, the CRPF jawan was posted in the national capital where he complained of soar throat, cough and cold while working as a frontline warrior. "As soon as he reported illness, he was quarantined for 14 days, meanwhile on May 8 his test was found negative of coronavirus, following which the jawan was allowed to go back home," a source in the health department said.
The unprecedented death of CRPF jawan has send a wave of shock across the state. Sources say, apart from one doctor who had come to take sample, none of the government officials turned up.
