Jhalawar:Continuing their unconditional support to Narendra Modi, a couple in Pirawa city of Rajasthan's Jhalawar district have donated an amount of Rs 1,01,101 to the Prime Minister's Relief Fund on Thursday. The donation was made before Modi was sworn-in as the Prime Minister of India for a second consecutive term.
The couple took the resolution before the Lok Sabha elections commenced. Dharmapal Singh and his wife Pushpa Devi deposited the amount in the Mini Secretariat of Jhalawar district through the District Collector.
Native of Jhunjhunu district, Dharampal Singh, is currently employed as a senior physical education teacher in the State Model Higher Secondary School, Kotli.
Singh stated that his donation is inspired by the work done by PM Modi with the spirit of development. He said that Modi was working hard to take India to the next level of world leadership.
