New Delhi: Ahead of the expansion and reshuffle in Rajasthan state cabinet, Congress party is all set to appoint a new executive body in the state. On Tuesday, Rajasthan Congress Chief Govind Dotasra said that it will be a relatively small committee and will have coordination among young and veterans in the state unit.
While speaking over the matter, Dotasra told reporters, "We will send our recommendations for new State Executive of Rajasthan Congress to Ajay Maken by December 31. This committee will have coordination among young and veteran leaders. But it will be a small committee. After getting feedback over it, the entire committee will be formed."
"Ajay Maken ji has met the Congress workers. I've been doing this exercise from last 3-4 months and even discussed it with Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot and with Sachin Pilot as well. I believe that we'll send our proposal to the party leadership very soon," he further informed.
Various rounds of discussions were held in Delhi as well. The list drawn for the political appointments will be submitted to Congress President Sonia Gandhi. The faction of Sachin Pilot is hopeful to get a look in, who were being sidelined after the political turmoil between Gehlot and Pilot.
All India Congress Committee had dissolved all the working committees and departments in July. Sachin Pilot was sacked as the PCC Chief and Dotasra was appointed in his place.
