Kota: Acting on a case of child marriage, the police here rescued a 14-year-old girl, who was being married off on the basis of a fake Aadhaar card.
Soon after getting the information that a minor is being married off in Mugena village of the district, police reached the spot, official sources said.
On being asked for the relevant documents to ascertain the age of the girl, the family members of the girl presented an Aadhaar card which proved to be a fake one during the initial probe.
