BSF arrests Pakistani citizen in Barmer

Border Security Force (BSF) arrested a Pakistani citizen from Munabao Akali village of Barmer district on Pakistan border on Monday.

Barmer (Rajasthan):A Pakistani citizen has been arrested by security agencies from Munabao Akali village of Barmer district on Pakistan border on Monday.

The person has reportedly crossed the wireline and entered India when the villagers reported this to the Border Security Force.

Amid high tensions between India and Pakistan after the modification of Article 370, BSF is now interrogating the infiltrator and is closely monitoring the border.

Security agencies said that they will issue official statements after the inquiry.

The Army had also received inputs of a possible terror attack in Southern India after a few abandoned boats were recovered in the Sir Creek area in Gujarat.
