Pali (Rajasthan): Amid the fear of coronavirus infection, a shocking incident came to light wherein ashes of five coronavirus victims were immersed by few men in Pali's polluted Bandi river.

According to the information provided, three days ago, at around 12 pm, two sweepers wearing PPE kits reached Bandi river with a plastic bag of ashes of coronavirus victims.

A city council official had already reached Bandi river with a JCB machine. They first dig a pit in the river and then ashes were put inside the pit. Later, they closed the pit with sand.

All five coronavirus victims were cremated in the electric crematorium established in the Hindu Seva Mandal. Their ashes were handed over to the city council.
