Udaipur: An Indian Army truck caught fire about 60 km from Rajasthan's Udaipur, ostensibly due to a technical malfunction, an official said on Friday. The truck was part of a five-vehicle convoy en route to the military station in Udaipur.
Realizing the sudden fire, army jawans, who were onboard the vehicle, managed to escape from the vehicle. As the vehicle was carrying ammunition, extra precautions were being followed by the jawans. Meanwhile, the Army has ordered a court of inquiry to ascertain the cause of the accident.
