AIIMS Jodhpur nurse commits suicide outside OT

An AIIMS nurse allegedly committed suicide outside the Operation Theater on Saturday. According to reports, the nurse was suffering from mental ailments including depression.

Jodhpur: A nurse from the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in Rajasthan, allegedly committed suicide outside the Operating suite on Saturday.

The nurse poured the flammable liquid and set herself ablaze, the police said.

According to reports, the nurse was suffering from mental ailments including depression.

Several doctors and nursing staff in the hospital have claimed that the deceased was suffering due to family-related issues and showed suicidal tendencies.

Following inputs about the fire, the Hospital authorities informed the police and further investigation is underway.
