Jaipur: Peeved over the sight of migrant workers walking barefoot in the scorching heat, Jaipur Commissionerate ACP distributed slippers and essential items to the people who were heading home amid the ongoing lockdown.
Slippers provided to migrant workers ACP Pushpinder Singh bought slippers and gave them to some labourers who are suffering from scorching heat and feet and leg pain.

Speaking to ETV Bharat, Adarsh Nagar ACP Singh said: "The workers are walking miles without slippers and food. Seeing the situation, we are helping the migrant workers. They are being provided with shoes, slippers, water, biscuits, clothes and other items."
"The workers are provided with transportation facility to travel to the borders of the state they belong to. Most of the labourers are moving towards Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Jharkhand and West Bengal, "he added.
Tests are being conducted for labourers facing health issues, ACP said.
