Barmer (Rajasthan): A teenager from Kharada Bharat Singh Village of Gida tehsil in the Barmer district of Rajasthan has become the talk of the town. In the video, a 17-year-old Jujhar Singh is seen stopping armed poachers from hunting chinkara (Indian gazelle). When Singh came to know that two hunters were trying to hunt a chinkara, he went out in search of the poachers, tracked them down and shot videos of the armed poachers in a bid to save wildlife, without caring for his life. In the video, which runs for about three minutes, the hunters are seen repeatedly apologizing to Singh and in the end, are seeing running away.
As per reports, the viral video is said to have been shot on June 10. Wildlife lovers have now sent this video to the Barmer Forest Department demanding that the poachers be arrested. Later, the forest department team met Singh and together inspected the spot and raided the houses of the poachers. But the forest personnel couldn't nab the hunters as they had fled by then. On further inspection, animal blood was found in the house of the hunters, which has been sent to the forensic lab for examination.
