Chandigarh: Senior Punjab bureaucrat Rakhee Gupta is all set to make a debut in the world of music. A devotional song Main Toh Ratungi Radha Naam sung by the 1997-batch IAS officer Rakhee Gupta will be premiered on YouTube by Times Music Spiritual on Monday.
The song is composed by Gaurav Dev and Kartik Dev and arranged by Kamal Kamavat.
“The release timed with the auspicious Navratris is my humble offering to the divine, Devotional songs touch the core of our very existence. They give us space to sprout our potential, awaken the beauty of the heart and spirit,” said Rakhee Gupta.
The devotional song dedicated to Lord Krishna is set against some of the most picturesque pilgrimage sites including Vrindavan and the banks of the Yamuna. The video shows Rakhee absorbed in religious ecstasy and her whole being resonating to the divine tune.
The solo number unveils the hitherto unknown facet of this IAS officer presently serving the Punjab Government as Resident Commissioner of Punjab at New Delhi.
