Man bit wife's nose over argument, dumps her midway

An inebriated man on Monday bit his wife's nose in Punjab's Bhatinda over a minor argument that turned into a scuffle as the victim objected to the drinking habits of the accused. The man, identified as Amandeep is yet to be arrested.

Bhatinda: In a fit of rage, a man bit his wife's nose on Monday in Punjab's Bhatinda following a scuffle between the couple over drinking habits of the accused. According to reports, the man was drunk during the incident.

Victim Sheetal who works as a teacher in a private school had an argument with the accused Amandeep Mittal. As the tension escalated, a fight broke out between the two and Amandeep bit of Sheetal's nose.

Later, on the pretext of taking the victim to a hospital in a car, the accused dropped Sheetal midway and fled.

While a case has been registered with the police, the matter is currently under investigation as the accused continues to remain at large.
