Committed to complete Kartarpur corridor: Harsimrat Kaur

Food Processing Minister Harsimrat Kaur assured that Kartarpur corridor project will be completed despite tensions between two nations.

New Delhi: Union Minister Harsimrat Kaur Badal, while talking exclusively to ETV Bharat on Tuesday, said the government was committed to complete Kartarpur Sahib corridor project on time despite tensions between India and Pakistan.

Speaking on policies enacted by the Food Processing Ministry, she said, "Five years as minister were challenging but now the number of Mega Food Parks and projects have increased."

"Before 2014, there were only two Mega Food Parks but now they are over 30," she added.

About former PM Manmohan Singh contesting from Amritsar, she said, "Congress has no chance of winning as they have not worked any good in the past 2 years."

When asked about her plans to contest elections, she said that she would contest from the seat, the party would offer but Bathinda was close to her heart.
