Chandigarh:Punjab based non-profitable, non-political NGOAtam Pargas Social Welfare Council (APSWC) has taken the initiative of helping the families of those farmers who lost their lives in the ongoing protests both financially and otherwise.
For this, a website was launched by five prominent academicians including current and former vice-chancellors of universities at the Punjab Agricultural University on Monday.
The bereaved families can register themselves on this portal after which the APSWC members would reach out to them with all the necessary help the family requires.
Dr Varinderpal Singh, principal soil scientist, PAU, and chairman APSWC said the families who register themselves would be visited by the Council members who will help them in every required aspect.
