Amritsar (Punjab): A group of Sikh pilgrims on Monday left for Pakistan through the Attari-Wagah border in Amritsar. By 12:30 pm, about 750 pilgrims had left the Wagah border. A group of Sikh pilgrims on Monday left for Pakistan through the Attari-Wagah border in Amritsar. By 12:30 pm, about 750 pilgrims had left the Wagah border. They will visit Sikh shrines in the neighbouring country from April 12-22 and celebrate Vaisakhi.

These pilgrims belong to various Sikh organisations, including Shiromani Committee Amritsar, Delhi Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee, Khalra Mission, Bhai Ghania ji and United Akali Dal.
According to sources, at least 60 pilgrims were tested positive for COVID-19. They have been sent back home.
