Jharsuguda: In a bizarre incident, a young man climbed up a mobile phone tower demanding money to buy wine. It took nearly three hours for the police, the fire service, relatives and the local people to persuade him to end his threat in Jharsuguda in Odisha.

Reports said relatives agreed to meet his demand for Rs 5000 before he agreed to climb down the tower in Ekatali. Sources said the man was in an inebriated state and picked up quarrels with the people.
