Keonjhar (Odisha): A woman has been allegedly bludgeoned to death by her husband in Odisha's Keonjhar district over a family dispute, police said on Thursday.
The deceased woman has been identified as Benga Juang (30) and the accused husband has been identified as Raya Juang(35).
According to reports, the incident happened in Manipur village in Pandapada police station area on Wednesday night following a heated argument between the couple over domestic issues.
The accused person's mother and other members of his family joined the argument and started beating Benga Juang. In a fit of rage, Raya picked up a stick and nd started beating up her mercilessly, killing her on the spot, reports added.
The accused, his mother and two other family members have been arrested. The body has been sent for post-mortem and an investigation has been started, police said.
