Bhubaneswar: A teacher, who was given life imprisonment for raping two minor girls in Rajkot, is on the run CBI said on Monday.
The teacher is identified as Dhaval Trivedi, who is a serial offender and he jumped parole after being released in July 2018.
Trivedi mastered the art of getting himself employed in primary and secondary schools and give private tuitions. Later he used to elope with local girls or his students.
CBI has registered a case against Dhawal in the Nidhi Khakhar kidnapping case. Dhawal kidnapped Nidhi from Chotila (Surendra Nagar, Gujarat) on 11 August 2018.
CBI's letter to the state Trivedi's case has been taken up by the CBI which has written to the State Government to keep a watch.
Odisha's School and Mass Education Department has written to the DEOs and BEOs to make sure that Trivedi is not recruited in any of the schools in Odisha.
