Driven by her confidence and strong will power, a tribal woman-- Anima Oram, hailing from Kasada village of Banai block under Sundergarh district decided to plough on her land after she lost her husband three years ago.

"I had lost my husband some three years ago. At that time, my eldest daughter was seven-year-old and son was three-year-old", said the 'iron' woman to ETV Bharat.

"The greatest challenge in front of me was to feed my two kids and my parents. I was in mental trauma about my as well as my children's future", added Anima.

She had only two options- either to struggle or to die.

"Then I decided to drive the tractor that my husband had purchased before his death. I called the driver, who has been my family friend for the last 20 years. At first, he refused to train me but seeing my pathetic condition, he agreed", said Anima.

Now, the iron lady has been working on her field as well as others to earn some extra money for the betterment of her children.

"I don't want my children to struggle like me. That is the reason I enrolled my children in a private school", added Anima.
