More than 70 people fall sick after having food at wedding feast

More than 70 people have fallen ill due to food poisoning at a marriage function in Kendrapara, Odisha. Three have been shifted to SCB medical college Cuttack while the rest are recuperating at Pattamundai Sub-Divisional Health Center.

Kendrapara (Odisha): More than 70 people fell sick after consuming food in marriage function. According to sources, groom Kunal Mallick of Matia village Pattamundai of Kendrapara was served food at his bride's home at Nimpur.

However, 70 people who went with the groom Kunal fell ill today. Most of them developed diarrhoea. All the affected people have been admitted to the Pattamundai Sub-Divisional Health Center for treatment.

Three have been shifted to SCB medical college of Cuttack. The doctor treating the patients at the hospital confirmed that they are suffering from food poisoning.
