Bhubaneswar:No matter how hard your life is, if you have set your goal and make endless efforts to achieve it, then no one can stop you. This statement actually signifies an Odia lad Kumar Biswaranjan (28), son of a tailor, who overcame massive odds to emerge successful in the Civil Services Examination in the third attempt. Biswaranjan has ranked 182 in the civil service exam 2019 in all India level.
Born in a poor family in Beruan village of Odisha's Jagatsinghpur district, Biswaranjan had experienced adversity during childhood. However, his parents never wanted financial constraint to be an obstacle in their children’s studies.
To give them a good education, mother Minati came to the capital city Bhubaneswar with her children in 2003. Staying in a rented house in Sector-3 of Niladri Vihar area in Bhubaneswar, Minati started tailoring work to support her husband Benudhar, a farmer, to make ends meet.
Speaking about his journey Biswaranjan said," It was long but not an easy exam. The one year 's hard work get paid off when you cracked it and that gives you the feeling of accomplishment. During this journey, I came across many hurdles at the same time my personality got several positive modifications as well."
Biswaranjan said that his parents, despite the monetary problems, never made him realise of the hardships by slogging day in day out so that his dreams could turn into reality one day and the day has arrived.
The young achiever expressed that he learned very early in his life to toil hard for success and that nothing comes easy. He pursued his Electrical Engineering from IIT Guwahati after which he worked in the IT sector for two years.
Biswaranjan had made it to the list last year as well with a rank of 391 but was not satisfied with the service preference and hence continued to prepare hard to achieve what he has today.
