Bhubaneswar:A chopper, ferrying Odisha Chief Minister and Biju Janata Dal (BJD) Chief Navin Patnaik to an election campaign in Rourkela, was inspected by a surveillance team from the Election Commission, on Wednesday.
According to reports, the special team (flying squad) conducted the inspection as soon as Patnaik's chopper landed for the public meeting.
Unlike the recent incident, in which Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan got into an argument with the flying squad (during a similar inspection), Patnaik cooperated with the officials, as they scoured through his luggage and the interiors of the chopper.
