12th century Radha-krishna idols worth Rs 4 cr seized in Odisha

Bhubaneswar: The Special Task Force of the Economic Offences Wing, Bhubaneswar on Wednesday seized 12th century Radha-Krishna idols worth approximately Rs 4 Crore.

One person named Sayed Zilnoor, a resident of Jadupur was arrested. EOW STF Inspector general Mr Yatindra Koyal informed the media that the perpetrators were planning to smuggle the idols in the international market through Nepal.

He also informed that the weight of the Krishna idol is more than 18 Kg and Radha idol is more than 12 Kg. The STF is investigating the matter.
