Woman dies after toilet wall collapses in Mumbai

A woman died after the wall of a public toilet collapsed at Kurla in Mumbai. The incident took place behind Naaz Hotel around 7.40 am.

Mumbai:A woman who was rescued from a public toilet in Kurla area of Mumbai after a portion of it collapsed, has died.

The woman's leg got trapped in the debris in the incident on Monday, a civic official said.

The incident took place around 7.40 am behind Naaz Hotel in Kurla-West following which the fire brigade, police and civic personnel rushed to the spot, he said.

"The woman was given first aid and then taken to Rajawadi Hospital," the official said.
