Video of fawn-baby monkey companionship amuses netizens

A video of a baby monkey and a fawn is doing rounds on social media as their companionship continues to draw a lot of attention.

Nagpur:A video of a newly moved in fawn and baby monkey at Transit treatment centre for wild animals in Maharashtra, has taken the internet by storm.

"A few days ago, an injured baby monkey was brought to Nagpur’s treatment centre for animals. Mother and the baby monkey got injured during the stone pelting incident that took place amid lockdown in Hingna area. After treatment the baby monkey had to be kept back owing to her ill health," Kundan Haate wildlife expert said.

He also added, some days back an abandoned fawn was found in Parshivni Taluka of Nagpur, it was also brought to the Transit treatment centre. "Both the animals have been sharing a great bond surprisingly, they play with each other and it is indeed quite a pretty sight," Kundan Haate stated.
