Mumbai: The meeting between political strategist Prashant Kishor and Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan at his resident 'Mannat' created a lot of speculations. Kishor on Friday met NCP Chief Sharad Pawar and later in the day met Shah Rukh Khan.

Speculations are ripe if Khan to make a political entry or Khan's production house 'Red Chillies' to make a biopic on Prashant's life. However, the rumours of such a biopic were brushed aside by a Red Chillies spokesperson. It was reported that Khan and Kishor met now and then after the latter was introduced to Khan by West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee.

Sources also termed the speculation of Shah Rukh Khan's political entry as baseless. Prashant Kishor's meeting is like a 'Thanksgiving Trip' as he is meeting people who had helped in his work. Earlier, Kishor also met NCP chief Sharad Pawar. The visit gains momentum as there are talks about a united front of opposition parties against the ruling BJP at the Centre and Pawar steering such an effort.

Maharashtra Minister Nawab Malik stated that Pawar wants to unite the opposition parties against the ruling BJP at the centre and Kishor shared his experience as a political strategist with the NCP supremo. They would have discussed the current political situation in the country, Malik said. Malik also ruled out the speculation of NCP appointing Kishor as a political strategist.

After the West Bengal elections, Prashant Kishor announced leaving the political strategy space.
