Sachin should be careful when speaking about areas other than cricket: Sharad Pawar

Veteran politician and supremo of Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) Sharad Pawar has warned Sachin Tendulkar that he should be careful when speaking about areas other than cricket.

Pune (Maharashtra):Reacting to Sachin Tendulkar's comments disparaging foreign celebrities' tweets on the ongoing farmers' movement, NCP supremo Sharad Pawar said the cricketer needs to exercise caution when addressing issues outside his expertise.

"The reaction of all ordinary citizens are strong in the backdrop of Sachin Tendulkar's comments on the farmers' agitation in Delhi. My advice to Sachin is to be careful when reacting on issues in fields other than cricket," Pawar said.

NCP President Sharad Pawar was the chief guest at the Bhimsen Joshi Birth Centenary function in Pune. He was answering journalists' questions.
