Sindhudurg (Maharashtra): A portion of Mumbai-Goa highway road caved in on Friday following heavy rains which lashed the state of Maharashtra.
According to the reports, the portion of the four-lane road caved in as deep as 12 feet due to water-logging.
The condition of the roads has remained poor in the area due to the poor quality of materials used during construction.
