Pune: Models walk at fashion show wearing costumes made from waste plastic

Models were seen walking in costumes made from waste plastic material at a fashion show in Pune. The event was organised to spread awareness on plastic waste management. An NGO had joined hands with the Pollution Board, Municipal Corporation along with some other institutions for making the event a success.

Pune:An unusual fashion show, consisting of costumes made from waste plastic was organised here.

The models in the show walked in these costumes in order to raise awareness on plastic waste management. The show mainly focused on promoting the reuse of plastic.

Costumes in the show were made of items like used plastic bottles, sanitary pads and other reusable plastic waste material.

The event was organized by the NGO My Earth Foundation in collaboration with the Road Pollution Board and Municipal Corporation of Pune.

The Vanarai Institute and the Deepali Syed Foundation also had a contributed in making the event a success.
