PubG claims life in Pune, youth dies of stroke

A youth in Pune died of a heart stroke while playing PubG. The deceased was an addict of the mobile game.

Pune: A 27-yr-old youth from Ravet died of a stroke on Thursday while playing the mobile game PubG.

Identified as Harshal Devidas, the deceased was an addict of this mobile game. At about 4 pm in the afternoon, he suddenly fell down on the ground thus alarming his family members.

He was rushed to a local hospital where the doctors referred him to Yashwantrao Chavan Memorial (YCM) hospital in Pimpri. He died while undergoing treatment there.

As per doctors, the blood flow in his body stopped due to excessive excitement from the game, thus leading to a stroke.

Harshal lived with his parents and three siblings in Pune. He was into PubG for the last two years and did not take up any job because of his addiction.
