Mumbai:The Narcotics Control Bureau has detained five persons in connection with three separate drug busts, in which, one is related to a drug case in connection with Sushanth Singh Rajput's death, NCB officials said on Friday.
According to the NCB official, Rahil Vishram was detained on Thursday with 1kg fine Charaas from Himachal Pradesh, which is of high grade and value in the black market and Rs.4.5 lakh cash was seized from him.
Rahul Visram is directly connected to other peddlers accused in the drug case related to the death of Sushanth Singh Rajput, the official said.
Meanwhile, the NCB also detained three persons in a separate recovery of a high-grade bud, a costly narcotic drug. However, officials also said that this case is not directly related to the drug cases of the actor.
Another man was also apprehended in Mumbai with small quantity of drugs in a separate case on Thursday. A member of the Special Investigation Team, SIT, who is probing a drug case related to Sushanth Singh Rajput's death has tested positive for COVID -19.
